The face behind the scenes...
I’m Emily; born and raised on the NSW South Coast. Business has always been in my blood—my parents owned a highly successful national luxury vehicle brand, which gave me early exposure to every moving part of running a business. That’s where I discovered my passion for marketing, particularly in the digital space, and my love for telling stories through image and video.
I officially started my career in online marketing at 17, over 15 years ago, when social media was still in its infancy for businesses. Taking charge of the digital presence for my family’s company, I was responsible for everything from Facebook and Instagram management to creating a full-scale YouTube content strategy. From scripting, filming, editing, and posting to managing a twice-weekly YouTube schedule and daily uploads on other platforms—I handled it all myself.
Finding people willing to be on camera was always a challenge, so I often stepped in myself. Over time, I not only created the content but also became the face of the brand—regularly speaking to camera and fronting videos that built trust and connection with our audience. That experience gave me an in-depth understanding of both the creative and performance sides of content creation, something I now bring to every client I work with.
Over the years, I’ve produced ad content and videos for hundreds of brands, building deep experience not just in content creation tools like Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Lightroom and Canva, but also in understanding what makes a video convert. My ability to tell stories through social media has also led me to success as a micro-influencer, where I’ve collaborated with countless businesses and refined my craft even further.
But what truly sets me apart is my background in sales. Long before launching my agency, I honed my skills in direct customer interactions. My first job in retail saw me consistently ranking as one of the state’s top achievers. From there, I moved into selling high-end lifestyle products like camper trailers—luxuries people don’t need but buy because of strong storytelling and connection. For the past six years, I’ve been selling homes for a local builder, where I consistently rank in the top 10 salespeople in the state—proving that my strategy, connections, and determination work.
This full-circle experience in sales and marketing has given me something invaluable: a deep understanding of how people think when they’re deciding whether or not to buy. To me, that’s the missing piece in so many social media strategies. Creating content isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about communication that resonates, connects, and converts. My sales background means I know how to craft ads and messages that don’t just look good—they actually work.
